Red Day Celebration was organized on 23rd January 2026 (Friday) at Mount Carmel School during regular school hours. The event was conducted with the objective of introducing young learners to the colour red through fun-filled and engaging activities. Prior to the celebration, children were informed to come dressed in red-coloured attire. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with red-themed decorations, creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. The children were warmly welcomed by the teachers, who were also elegantly dressed in red, adding to the spirit of the occasion. Various age-appropriate activities were conducted by the teachers to ensure active participation of all students. Nursery students enjoyed finger dabbing in balloons, Junior KG students created flower bouquets using forks, and Senior KG students participated in ladyfinger dabbing on capsicum. These activities helped enhance their creativity and fine motor skills while reinforcing colour recognition. In addition, the teachers had thoughtfully prepared an attractive selfie stand, and the stage was decorated with different pictures representing the colour red. Fun games were also organized, making the celebration lively and enjoyable. The Red Day celebration successfully helped children learn about the colour red in a fun, interactive, and experiential manner. The day was filled with joy, excitement, and enthusiasm, making it a memorable experience for all our little stars.
