Yellow Day was celebrated on 4th February 2026 (Wednesday) at Mount Carmel School during regular school hours. The celebration was organized to help children recognize and understand the colour yellow through engaging and enjoyable activities. Students were informed in advance to come dressed in yellow-coloured attire. The campus was filled with brightness as children appeared in various shades of yellow. Teachers also dressed in yellow, adding to the cheerful ambience of the event. A beautifully designed selfie stand was prepared by the teachers, and the stage was decorated with different pictures representing the colour yellow. Teachers conducted a variety of age-appropriate classroom activities to encourage creativity and participation. Nursery students enjoyed mango dabbing using yellow paper, Junior KG students created a sun using ear buds, and Senior KG students made corn using yellow paper. In addition, yellow colour sorting activities and puzzle games were organized, which helped enhance cognitive and motor skills. The Yellow Day celebration enabled children to learn about the colour yellow in a fun, interactive, and playful manner. The day was filled with excitement, joy, and enthusiasm, making it a memorable experience for all the children.
